Our Ewes
We currently have five ewes. Three black ewes (Ace of Spades, Demi, and Amelia Earhardt) and two off-white ewes (Leia, and Snicker Doodles). All ewes can be dual registered except for Demi. Demi is only NABSSAR registered. They are all codon RR and have sweet dispositions. They will all be breed in the fall check back later for the breeding pairs. Contact us now to get onto the waiting list.
Amelia Earhardt
Amelia Earhardt
This is our home raised Amelia Earhardt born in fall of 2019. She is condon RR and dual registered. Her Dam is Leia and Sire is Poe Dameron. Another one of our show sheep. She did not show on a county level because my son was to young to show and my daughter was only allowed to bring one which was her ewe Snickerdoodles. She was shown by my son on a state level and she won Reserve Champion for the spring ewes right behind Snickerdoodles who won Grand Champion. She will be bred for the first time in the fall of 2020.
Leia
Leia is our pride and joy. She is my sheep of choice for nursing home visits. She has shown three years in a row on a state and local level. On a county level she has won first blue for wool breed as a spring ewe lamb, yearling ewe, and a mature ewe. She also has won Grand Champion in breeding flock three years in a row. On a state level she won Grand Champion as a spring ewe and yearling in the Babydoll Southdown Class. She is an off-white RR ewe that stands at 22" at the shoulders. She is a very good mother and has given me twins every year. She will be bred again in the fall and I can't wait to meet her babies in spring of 2021.
Ace of Spades
Ace of Spades is a mature RR ewe that has had a lot of twins. She is black in color that has faded with age. She is my older girl that has given me a lot of show champion rams. She is on the taller side and is 23" at the shoulders. She has mothered my best show rams Poe, Echo, and now Heimdall. She is a wonderful mother and will be bred in the fall and I can't wait to meet her little ones next spring.
Demi
Demi is one of our black RR ewes. She has shown on both a state and local level. On a county level she has won first blue as a spring ewe and yearling in the breeding wool class. She also won Grand Champion in the wool breeding flock class with Echo and Snickerdoodles. On a state level she won Grand Champion in the spring ewe Babydoll Southdown class. Demi was bred for the first time to Echo and gave us two beautiful ram lambs. Both ram lambs are sold. She is our only sheep that isNABSSAR registered only. The rest of our sheep are dual registered.
Snicker Doodles
Snicker Doodles is a RR off-white ewe. She will be bred this fall of 2020. She is one of my show girls. She showed on a county and state level. On the county level she won first blue in the spring ewe wool breed. We also entered her into a breeding pair competition with Echo and together they won Grand Champion. Then we entered her into a breed flock wool competition with Echo and Demi and again they won Grand Champion. On a state level she won Grand Champion spring ewe in the Babydoll Southdown breed class. She is quite the show girl and has such a wonderful disposition I can't wait to meet her lambs in sprign of 2021.
