Babydoll South Down Sheep
2024 lambs.
We had born this year four black lambs: 3 ewes and 1 ram lamb. Currently we have 1 ram lamb and 1 ewe lamb left for our black lambs. Both are NABSSAR registered (papers in hand) and can be registered with OEBSSR upon request for additional $25.
We had 7 white lambs. 3 ewes and 4 ram lambs. All but 1 ewe are available, and one ram lamb has been wethered due to being on a bottle.

Breeding Pairs for 2024 Lambs

Nimbus (off-white Codon tested RR ram)
will be bred to the following ewes. He is a Top Of The Town Downs bred ram. NABSSAR registered.

1) Freya one of our champion ewes, Off-white and codon tested RR. She is a wonderfull momma who has always gave us twins. Dual registered with OEBSSR and NABSSAR

2) Snickerdoodles has a similar sweet personality. She has won grandchampion spring ewe on a state and local level. She is an off-white ewe that is codon tested RR. Dual registered with OEBSSR and NABSSAR.
3) Annabelle, one of my favorite ewes. She has won champion several times and ended taking reserved champion overall in all breeding stock. She is off white that is codon tested RR. Dual registered with OEBSSR and NABSSAR.
Fuller's Quantum. The Fullers showed him at the south Dakota State Fair and he won reserve champion. He has an amazing fleece which Jody also entered at the fair and won champion for his fleece. He is a black ram and codon tested RR. Dual registered NABSSAR and OEBSSR.

1)Leia she is the heart and soul of our farm. Everyone's favorite ewe. She also enjoys being a therapy sheep in area resident homes. This girl won many champion ribbon and is tested RR. Dual registered NABSSAR and OEBSSR

2) Amelia Earhardt (our sweet Amelia, she is a black ewe who will be a first time mother this year. She is codon RR and won reserve champion just behind our Snickerdoodles on the state level. She is also daughter to our Leia so does carry white gene. Dual registered NABSSAR and OEBSSR.

#48 is an off-white spring ram lamb that was born in April. He comes from two Codon tested parents that are RR, so he is RR as well. He was born a single. He is amazing looking ram. Very boxy, fuzzy face, great conformation and built like a tank. We are not showing any ram lambs this year but if we were I would choose him. #47 an off-white wether lamb born in March whi is available once weaned. He is a very nice ram lamb as well. He is similar to our top pick ram # 48, just a tad smaller. A sweet off-white wether born in March. He was born a twin to Babydoll Acre's Ace of Spades. He is shy at first but once he gets to know you loves to be pet. We chose him to be a wether due to his mother's age. Ace is our amazing 12 year old ewe that loves nothing more then being a mommy. She had twins and not enough milk to feed both with out our help. So both him and his sister besides nursing from mom were supplemented with bottles until they were weaned. Since he was bottle fed on the side we chose to wether him.
